Karma a measurement of how at peace you are with yourself and the world. It is a sense of oneness with all living things and a clear understanding of your place within the vibrant land of Cardea.
Those destroying and perverting life frequently will accumulate dark karma, whilst those doing deeds of good will accumulate light karma. Dark karma is gained especially rapidly by those of high power who seek to destroy those far weaker than themselves.
After death, you must ease the burden on your soul. The darker your karma, the more time this may take. Also, you must atone for your sins by giving up more of your life essence than would otherwise be the case. The gods of the land may also refuse you a divine shield, which most people normally get after resurection.
