Sometimes a monster may slay a poor soul, or perhaps an enemy catches them unaware, or maybe even a duel is fought. But dead is dead, as my old granny Mink used to say, and there is no help for it. If you happen to die, you can be restored to the land after a brief period of atonement and travel in the Halls of the Dead. Those coming off the Paths are restored at the Silent Clearing deep in the Stonetroll forest, with their health and mana refreshed. Beware, though, dying can cost you a great deal of hard-won experience, so be sure to type RIP (Rest In Peace) as soon as you can after dying!
